The Material Language

Warm. Natural. Deliberate.

The palette is intentionally restrained: creamy stone, natural wood, handmade-looking tile and bronzed metal. Each material has a role, and none is competing for attention.

Peachtree Lofts

An industrial loft reworked for modern living. The renovation opened a compartmentalized kitchen and living area while preserving the exposed structure and industrial character of the space.

From stories
to spaces.

For 25 years, I worked in global breaking news, telling stories from some of the world's most difficult places. I witnessed families lose homes, communities and the sense of safety and belonging that comes with having a place of your own.

My next chapter is about building. I bring the creative thinking, storytelling and disciplined project management of my journalism career to residential investment and development — looking beyond what is immediately visible to find the potential in a property and imagine what it can become.

Through Waffa Property Group LLC, those influences come together: thoughtful architecture, memorable design, investment discipline and the belief that a home should provide both emotional and financial security.
